From Francisco Suárez XXI, we will publish specific posts presenting, in clear language and with minimal scholarly apparatus, the theses and contributions of each article in the monograph:
A doctrinal synthesis of the framework proposed by Pedro Aullón de Haro for the “Salamancan modern subject.”
An iconographic overview from Susana Pablo’s study (corpus, typologies, vera effigies, image circulation, and authenticity criteria).
An anthropological reading of Suárez’s work according to José M. Pons, with attention to Castellote (edition of De anima, manuscripts from Salamanca and Pavia, and the foundations of Suárezian anthropology).
This volume stands out for bringing together a generation of researchers from diverse disciplines — philology, philosophy, theology, law, aesthetics, and translation — under the direction of Pedro Aullón de Haro. The result is a monograph of thematic unity and methodological variety, consolidating the study of Suárez as a central axis of Hispanic intellectual tradition and its universal projection.
